The ‘National Film Board of Canada’s’ animated short film ‘Lipsett’s Diaries’ is a descent into the maelstrom of anguish that tormented Arthur Lipsett, a legendary Canadian experimental filmmaker whose admirers in the film world included Stanley Kubrick and George Lucas.
Join animator/director Theodore Ushev, director of such acclaimed animated shorts as ‘Drux Flux’ and ‘Tower Bawher’ as he takes us through the inspiration, genesis and filmmaking process for ‘Lipsett Diaries’.
The workshop includes a practical demonstration of painting techniques and using computers together with painting to take viewers on a journey of dazzling and provocative imagery.
