LIAF 2025: MARVELLOUS ANIMATIONS FOR 8-15 YEAR-OLDS (PG)

These 9 films from 7 different countries have been chosen especially for children aged 8 and upwards and include themes such as friendship, resilience, and self-discovery. They are films for the young but also the young at heart with several laugh-out-loud moments alongside tales that tug at the heart-strings.

Here you will meet charismatic characters such as a hard-working ant, a young girl and her dog who share a cosmic experience, a little hamster who befriends a giant plant creature and many others in a series of stunning visuals showing that animation is the best tool to transform the everyday into the magical.

Narrated by Bella Ramsey. After being raised on a pig farm in the UK, Matilda the pig decides to undergo a brave and daring escape in order to save herself and her piglets. However, the farmers have a different plan for Matilda and set out to bring her back.
