LIAF presents Chris Shepherd & David Shrigley’s ‘Who I Am and What I Want’ – the first of three very special short films especially hand-picked for Latitude Festival’s Film & Music Arena. Each, in their own idiosyncratic ways, exploring the nuances of the human brain and asking “What defines us?”

‘Who I Am and What I Want’ (Chris Shepherd & David Shrigley, 2005)
This film is about who I am and what I want. It’s NOT about who YOU are and what YOU want. You always think everything I make is about you but it’s not. It’s all about me……. A scribbled, strangely funny but highly unsettling examination of the human condition. The story of a man who bares his emotions, history, hang ups and desires in all of their dysfunctional absurdity, leaving us to assemble not only his identity but to question our own.
