LIAF 2021: Joseph Wallace: Dark Dreams & Musical Oddities + Screentalk

October 14, 2021 by LIAF

At The Puppet Theatre Barge book tickets SOLD OUT

We are really excited to present one of the UK’s most extraordinary animation stop-motion directors, Joseph Wallace, live onstage at this unique venue to screen a selection of his short films and music videos and discuss his work in person.

Joseph Wallace is a BAFTA Cymru nominated animation and puppetry director. He has written and directed more than a dozen short films which have received international acclaim and screened at festivals around the world including Kraków Film Festival, London Short Film Festival and Edinburgh International Film Festival, as well as receiving Vimeo Staff Picks. Over a 15-year career Joseph has built up an astounding collection of work including his most ambitious film to date ‘Salvation Has No Name’ (just finished and hitting the festival circuit in 2022) and his recent stop-motion segments in ‘The Sparks Brothers’ musical documentary.
