In collaboration with The Japan Foundation, we’re delighted to welcome two Japanese animators: Atsushi Wada and Sarina Nihei for this live online Screentalk.
Both Atsushi and Sarina’s works will be shown as part of this years’ festival as we celebrate a wealth of Japanese animation with BFI Japan 2021. They will talk about their creative processes as well as the ideas and inspirations behind their productions. As award-winning artists, both Atsushi and Sarina have been recognised internationally for their work. During this talk, you will be able to hear directly from these talented creators as to how they have continued to flutter their wings of imagination and crystalise it into fascinating motion pictures.
The talk will be online only and moderated by Alex Dudok de Wit.
