LIAF 2020: Entries & Coronavirus

Despite all the uncertainty currently happening in the world we are still working towards the 2020 London International Animation Festival taking place at our usual time of year – the end of November and beginning of December.
Now is the perfect time to enter your films to LIAF, as our programmers are busy watching films in anticipation of the festival. Like everyone we are spending a lot of time at home and it would be great if you could keep them coming. The screening and selection process has begun, and you can submit your films via the usual channels – through FilmFreeway or directly to LIAF here
We are working hard to make sure that the 17th edition of LIAF will be another celebration of our incredibly talented worldwide international and local independent animation community with our usual programme of the most current films from all around the world in themed competition screenings, visits and talks from international and local animators, masterclasses, industry events and retrospective and specialised screenings.
We understand that there could still be restrictions in place, even in November, for mass gatherings and if that is the case we are looking at ways of putting on a digital version of LIAF with exclusive VOD animation programmes, live streams and online panels and talks.
