We still have a few places remaining on this year’s LIAF Masterclasses.
As part of the London International Animation Festival 2011 we are very proud to be presenting two very special masterclasses with some of our finest animators. These workshops are open to participants on a strict, first-come, first served basis and are very limited in numbers.
Wojtek Wawszczyk Masterclass
Wojtek Wawszczyk and Anna Blaszczyk, one of the lead animators on ‘George the Hedgehog’, will lead participants through the process of re-animating a scene from their feature film. Participants need to be knowledgeable of Adobe After Effects version CS3 in order to take part in this workshop.

Theodore Ushev Masterclass
The National Film Board of Canada’s animated short film ‘Lipsett’s Diaries’ is a descent into the maelstrom of anguish that tormented Arthur Lipsett, a legendary Canadian experimental filmmaker whose admirers in the film world included Stanley Kubrick and George Lucas. Join animator/director Theodore Ushev, director of such acclaimed animated shorts as ‘Drux Flux’ and ‘Tower Bawher’ as he takes us through the inspiration, genesis and filmmaking process for ‘Lipsett Diaries’.
